If this were TikTok I’d say gremlins or die hard.

And wait for the hate to hail down on me.

Oh I can destroy that movie so much for people and ruin the Christmas. Spirit it gives to people. But I'll be nice for once.

I will say this, if you argue die hard is not a Christmas movie, neither is It's a Wonderful life.

"My all time favourite of favourite films is Love Actually I'm just a big softie 💓 "

If you watch Die Hard straight after you get to watch Alan Rickman pay for breaking Emma Thompson's heart.

A bit of advice for anyone who loves the Elf film. Don't go and see the stage play. In the film, Will Ferrell plays the role just enough on the comedic side to not make the character annoying and shrill. Not so in the stage play. The lead actor plays the character so annoying and pathetically immature that you just want to punch him very hard. It ruined the film for me so completely that I haven't been able to watch it since.

Muppets Christmas Carol gets my vote, especially the original, unabridged version (on Disney +).

Yeah but Lethal Weapon is shit regardless of the time of year so it takes a back seat by default.

as much as I should have an obvious choice; my vote goes to a wonderful life.

I was late to this one and only watched it for the first time a few years back, but it's now a mandatory Christmas viewing every year.

Started on our December blitz of Christmas films yesterday, with a double-bill of...

On Her Majesty's Secret Service (One of the best James Bond films, and it's set at Christmas - yay!!)

Suspect (Courtroom/political thriller with Cher - it's borderline, as only the first 10 minutes is set at Christmas, but a nice way to ease into the barrage without being too festive).
