Possibly the dullest thread of the day, but do you love it or hate it?
Personally I'd rather sit on a cactus covered in fire ants than consider going through the ballache of sticking it to walls. These days I'm not even a fan of painting walls and much prefer to just stick random artwork on neutral walls, that I can change easily as and when I feel in the mood.
The thought of trying to line up strips of paper accurately fills me with dread. Plus it's a nightmare to change when you get bored of it.
So are you a fan, or do you prefer paint or nothing at all? 🤔 |

As I used to be a decorator, definitely paint. Not only is it easier, cheaper and less stressful, I love the act of painting itself and find it very therapeutic. |

I like ONE feature wall with wallpaper, my current house is covered in the stuff though and it's miserable.
I had a lovely bonding day with my Dad about 6 years ago where he taught me how to wallpaper, so it's got quite a cute association for me now |

We have bare brick as feature walls in our house. In our bedroom and behind the sofa (old chimney breast). That's our level of decor. All plastered walls are painted magnolia, aside from the bathroom which is tiled in black and white. Colour comes from accessories and wall art. It's low maintenance and timeless |

"All plastered walls are painted magnolia
It might be from using so often in the past and I've been conditioned into it, but I do love magnolia lol."
It's nice and light and neutral and means furniture and other bits can be any colour you like and still match. We break it up with pictures on the walls, mainly family stuff or meaningful images to us. We have a lovely collage frame of family pics from the summer to put up somewhere (Mr KC!) |

I’m not a huge fan of wallpaper, mainly because I’m not great at putting it up
I stick to neutral colours and change things like cushions, bedding, ornaments when I get bored. |

Bought some lovely wallpaper a few years ago, it looks like leather but it's not. It's got a bit of a shimmer to it but not much, just the drop matching was massive... Somehow I got round it by opening a new roll and working with two rolls as the second started shorter meaning less paper wasting.
Cant say I mind painting either, just not skirting boards. |

Helped a relative with some wallpaper a couple of years ago. Biggest pain was getting the paper. Loads of places had stuff online only but she wanted to see it IRL so had to order and pay for samples.
I prefer paint. |
