What is it with this site it seems its become a site for whoever to look at you send one or two messages then either block or vanish . There are genuine people on here as I've had the pleasure of meeting them but I don't understand why if they are not genuine why bother to start a conversation then vanish |

I'm not sure I follow you. I chat with people and sometimes within a few messages I realise they really aren't for me or vice versa. That's just the nature of meeting people online.
There are far too many people here who seem to feel entitled or don't care about mutual attraction etc. |

So they wink you message you start a conversation . Then after initially speaking and showing interest in meeting with you they vanish |

If it's single females you are referring to then they are spoiled for choice, for instance a local status right now from a single lady "Sorry! I had over 400 messages and had to delete to start again xx". |

Sending a few messages doesn’t lock you in to a guaranteed shag.
How do you expect people to know if they are compatible without having a conversation first? |

Yup, maybe they just changed their mind, got put off by something? That seems fairly normal behavior. Just because I chat to someone, wink them, fab a photo etc, it doesn't mean I'm somehow then obliged to have sex with them?? |

I believe the added numbers of single guys has caused women and couples to get swamped with messages. So it can be difficult to reply to everyone |

The only way to guage suitability, compatibility or interest is to start a conversation, surely? If they aren't enthused or not feeling the vibe then there's a reasonable expectation that they will kill the conversation or just vanish. |

I genuinely think I live in a different world as I don’t see so many of the issues that continually get raised in the fora.
I rarely have conversations that just disappear but then I am pretty quick to cut conversations that I have _any_ doubt about.
I think that if you are continually finding yourself in the same situation - such as disappearing conversations - then you need to look at what you are doing that is putting you in that situation.

There are a lot of people on here who can talk all the talk, but when it comes down to it, they really don't deliver what they promised.
So I think from the shame of it most end up ghosting people now before the meets happen or delete profiles once they get outed. |
