Why do people in general feel the need to go on about what they have and brining it into conversation when it does them no favours? Surely people realise it makes them like like an apes arse?

Some people just cannot help themselves. I think some of them don't realise how bad they actually brag.

Well that's it, I'm off. I've said my piece and I'm away out. Now which of my 6 cars should I take today ... errrrrm maybe the Bentley or the Ferrari, oh decisions decisions

i dont think much of people who brag i guess its the way i was brought up.

maybe they do it because it makes them feel better about themselves, more important. i think there is a difference between bragging about things or just telling people what you have got because youre pleased about it.

When people talk about how many bedrooms they have and how many cars and whatever.... and how it is so time consuming looking aftert it all, I can't help feeling sorry for them. After all.... it's obvious the poor bastards can't afford staff.

Over the rainbow, under the bridge

I don't really care much about material things, in general, so when people start banging on about their 'stuff' I tend to zone out - it just doesn't really interest me. My indifference usually shuts them up.

Brighton - even Hove!

I don't mind people who tell us all about thing they have. It's possible to tell from context and the way they say it if they are boasting. If they are, they lack confidence and have low self esteem in my opinion. I bet it doesn't get them a shag.

The wealthiest people I have known have never bragged about what they have. I always felt it showed class.
