Become less of a thing right?

It’s like they magically catch you up, wtf?

People I dated who were mid 30s when I was late 40s are hitting 40 soon , talking about early nights, whining more & dressing like my nan.

Well, I mean I haven’t turned 60 yet so I don’t know if my type will still be my type when I catch up to them.

I think mental age gaps are more significant than chronological.

60s grans are hot , boots and mini skirts, mine lived in the previous century. Think Holly Hunter in the Piano, wearing, that thing that stops dogs biting each other.

My husband is 16 years my junior.

Our gap is only noticeable to other people when we first started dating he looked very young, it was a constant slew of comments. Now that he is in his 30s, it’s less noticeable.

I love having a young sexy man on my arm mostly so I don’t trip and break a hip!

I'm going to be (almost) serious for a moment.

Strap in .

It's playfulness for me. Mental playfulness matched with a degree of physical energy.

I've found that most in the 30-45 age group, with a very, very small number of notable exceptions in their 50s or 25-30. But none starting with a 6. Plenty of other things that are enjoyable about them, but just not enough playfulness.

And I thrive around playful.

BGG - you are 21 in so many ways, and you are also your real age too because you "get it", and that is one of the main reasons why you shine so much.

Thank you xxx

If that were true we’d be in each other's age range

That’s all I’ve ever wanted but sadly these charming old goats that woo me are penniless. No one knows suffering like I do 😢

It's mainly tailored clothes and a few hand-knitted jumpers, cardigans. But also hats.

But to answer your OP. I think I have a younger outtake on life compared to Mam at a similar age (there's only 18 years between us). Still doing everything I used to do when I was younger just with less alcohol

Bloody hell, if I went for the sort of age gaps I had in my youth I'd have to start hunting in the local eldercare homes!

It's unlikely at my age I'm going to go for someone a huge amount older, but I also don't want someone too young who makes me feel ancient. My desirable age gap is much narrower than it used to be.

I reckon I could still keep up with a 20 something in bed.

Don't be asking me to play Fortnite though, I can get a grip on those new-fangled controllers.

I'll smash you at Atari.

My long term buddy was 28 when we first met.

He now has grey hair and a sensible car.

I believe so.

The power dynamic and life experience is a lot more even in a 20 year age gap between a 38YO and 58YO than an 18YO and 38YO.

I have nothing against age gaps per se, love is love. I had in my youth a few age gap relationships with women significantly older because I just found more connection and more in common with a more mature mind. However I'm very dubious of large age gaps when one is particularly young (late teens, early 20s). Because peoples minds genrally don't become mature until later in their 20s and they often dont benifit fromnthe same levels of hard taught life experience. So even when technically legal its basically a mature adult with a adolescenct/just emerging from adolescence. So in general a dynamic I find iffy and often from experience a little exploitative in nature. Not saying that's the case 100% of the time but definitely something I'm dubious of knowing how often it is the case.

I was with a 24 year old a few days ago.

My mental block makes me wonder why on earth a guy that age would be attracted to me but he said “age is just a number- all I see is that you’re hot and sexy”

A wise, pretty young thing.
