I don't know about you lot but for me it's been another generally Sucky year, one I'll be glad to see the back of so I'll be welcoming in the new one in style at Purple Mamba.
What have the rest of the Forumites got planned for New Year's Eve? |

Hardcore rave at my favourite club. Went to one last year to see Mark EG and M-Zone, which was the BEST way I've ever spent a NYE. Will be doing it every year from now on. 🥳 |

For the longest time, my wife, daughter and I would watch a good movie, have popcorn, and then see in the New Year with a cup of tea and cake or something like that.
Since my wife passed, my daughter and I have kept up that tradition. So I expect we'll do it again. She does have a boyfriend now, though, and there's a chance she'll go out and do something with him. In that case, it will be me at home with a movie and popcorn, seeing in the New Year on my own, and thinking about my lovely wife.

Usually just at home with good snacks and drinks all warm and toasty watching the celebrations on telly.
Maybe this year would be nice to have a couple over doing with a hot session seeing in the NY.

I don't even go to bed at 9pm on a work night! Well I'm full of optimism for the new year. I'm getting my life back on track and long may it continue. I love an excuse to get together with friends and family so will be food and drink round ours. 🥳 |
