Typhoo tea is shite sorry. And yeah you can definitely taste a difference from different bands. Yorkshire tea doesn't exactly taste like PG tips yet they're both teas.
Does tap water taste the same as Buxtons bottle water?
I think not |

"I very rarely drink tea.
I do drink rooibos and you can definitely tell the difference between brands. That tea pig stuff tastes of flowers and the net bag it's in. "
Yes! Fellow rooibos drinker here. I don’t like it too floral, Tick Tock is my favourite brand. |

I don't know. Our tap water tastes horrible so we use a filter jug, that seems to work |

I'm a bit low brow and enjoy Sainsbury or Tesco own brand. Tick Tock is nice too. |

I often find that the taste and aroma of my tea 🫖 varies depending on whom I'm sitting with, enjoying their company, debating the varieties of tea (Darjeeling, thank you for asking) and, most importantly, flirting and teasing each other between the tea cups and the sweet edible morsels that pass between our lips. |

If she can be charmed and beguiled by a Lidl™'s tea bag then I'm all for it. The woo'ing becomes much easier...and cheaper. 😇 |

"Lady Grey tea, and Nescaf. Think posh coffee is generally too bitter. And don’t understand why people pay so much for Costa’s etc"
I love Lady Grey tea. It's quite difficult to get hold of in these parts though. |

PG tips all the way!
I watched a program where they tested tea bags for plastic content by putting them in a chemical that dissolves everything except plastic. Yorkshire tea bags were the worst. All tea bags contain it but PG tips had the lowest out of all brands.
I think it's polypropylene plastic from memory used to seal the tea bags up. |

"Looks like typhoo tea is set for administration
What’s your go to brand of tea or coffee?
Can you tell the difference between different brands of the same drink?"
I'm a Yorkshire tea girl. Love a nice strong cup of tea. The decafe is decent too.
I can definitely tell the difference in teas. Like people can with coffees and wine.

I generally have PG Tips and have had Typhoo, when on an exceptionally good offer. I occasionally have them all, when well priced but tend to stock up, when offers run.
It's sad that Typhoo is in trouble but I don't hold much confidence, when private equity firms get involved The north west needs jobs
I can tell PG taste and love their decaf aroma, it's unique |

It has been polyproplene that was used to seal tea bags up . More brands started switching to a plant sourced plastic, or bags sown with cotton. It's scary the volume of micro plastics that must have been produced over the years, from our tea bags |

I buy either M&S or Sainsbury's red labe tea
It's good enough for me
I'm no connoisseur
As for coffee, I only like it from a coffee shop
I keep some own brand instant in the back of the cupboard at home for the non tea drinkers |

I mainly drink Clipper green tea. Yes I can tell the difference. When I was in hospital, someone brought me Aldi own brand green tea. It tastes very different. |

I’ve never tried Clipper Teas, even though I regularly drive past the sheds where they blend them and package them, strange how you are often oblivious to things that are on your doorstep. |

That's why I couldn't find any Typhoo in the supermarket then... Love Typhoo, had to buy Tetleys, which is not too bad. |

They're nice teas. My bro bought me the black tea once by accident and that was nice too. Maybe give 'em a go one day! |
