Death, but not in the traditional sense. More that I'll miss out on seeing how technology progresses throughout the centuries.

I've always felt that I was born into the wrong stage civilisation. 🤨

The perception of time.

Although it's travelling at a constant and equal speed your perception changes as you get older. Years feel shorter and shorter. But they're not.

Here ...

"The perception of time.

When you were 4 years old one year was 25% of your life ... when you're 50 its 2% of your life ... so as a portion of your life it's much smaller as you get older so seems faster 😁

That's it!

Unfortunately, as you age and perception changes, every one of us will reach the point where we realise we have less time left than we've had. And, perceptually, is going past quicker.

Scary 😨

"People I love dying."

This is a fear indeed. But also an inevitable fact that will affect all of us (and most likely multiple times).

Many fears are irrational or subjective. This one is not.

Oh. I was born exactly into the right stage of civilisation.

I'm just scared that I will die in the wrong stage of what used to be civilisation!
