My back used to be like a bear. After having a full body wax and seeing how that looked and felt I decided I needed to do something about it.
My partner has supported me on my journey which has been nice but we found with waxing that I ended up like a cactus after a few days, thus not really being worth it.
So with that lesson, I'm now getting my back, butt and shoulders lasered for hair reduction. It was actually cheaper to pay for a full body laser treatment so I'm getting some extra areas done, this includes the front of my neck to help shape my beard and the public triangle. They won't do my pubes because laser could damage there so have to continue shaving there which is fine.
Yes it's expensive, yes it hurts (but once it's done it's done and not as bad as waxing). Would definitely recommend it if anyone's considering it.
I'm keeping my arm and leg hair and my front I trim, or rather, she trims it for me to her liking as she does a cracking job of it. |

I would say normally it doesn't bother me.
...but I did have an experience with a man where the hair on his arms was so long and thick that my fingers got stuck in it and I nearly dry heaved in the moment. But I've never been so badly affected outside of that. |
