You only have to look on those stylish adverts or the cover of the last indie band album to see that beards are seen as the new fashion accessory for the modern man.
You can not sit outside your tent, guitar besides you without hairs growing from your chin ..

"Stubble can look good"
From my perspective as a wearer of a full beard, stubble looks to bit too much maintenance, worse than shaving I would guess? Apart from brushing all I need to do is give it a trim every three or four months.
