Talk about the green-eye monster!!!
I received a rather snotty PM on another site that I frequent, for promoting the products and services for non-UK vendors that I have pleasant dealings with in the past, and that I should consider more about what this person, who is a vendor based in the UK, could offer, la di da...!!!
What a cheek, as I have had no dealings with her since I joined that board in Jun 2008, not a single PM, and I have never purchased anything from her.
I replied in kind, in my usual manner, informing her that I can only make recommendations based on personal experiences. Since I have never purchased from her, I can't vouch for her products or services etc. etc...
I also informed her that with that PM, she can be certained that I shall never be a customer of hers, ever!
And I have also informed the administrator of the board of her snotty PM, as 2 of them are vendors that I have purchased from in the past.
If she were on FAB, I would have hit the block button straight away!

I was sooooooooo frigging angry when I received that snotty PM from her I can tell you.
I have never liked her for her posts on the board, as she always comes across as rather sarcastic and with a hidden gender of some sort.
Her latest action proved that my instinct is right about her!

Why read her PM then or allow her to annoy/wind you up when you've previously come to the conclusion she has a hidden agenda?
I am guessing you had been unable to block her then. If so, why bother reading her message if it was going to get you in a twist? |

I did not expect anyone to have a go, it was totally out of the blue.
Although I did not particularly like her posts, I had no reason to believe she would so unpleasant.
I have found a way to ignore her now, so she cannot contact and snipe at me via PM again.

Follow up in case anyone may be interested.
The Admin of the said board considered the unsolicited PM to be unprofessional and borderline harassment, and not entirely truthful.
They will be taking it up with her.
