true story..
one time the grandparents turned up to take the kids to the park for a bit.. so we grabbed a quickie on the kitchen table.. just over an hour or so later they returned the kids and plonked their bums down at the kitchen table for a cuppa..
Little had i known that during our quickie a Blob of something whiteish had found its way on to the kitchen table a fair bit away from where we were on the table !!
Mum in law found it and said that something was spilt on the table and proceded to clean it with some kitchen roll.. and promptly blamed it on the kids only being back 5 mins and already making a mess.. phew !!!
that was my kitchen accident lol ![](/icons/s/2/halo.gif) |

No doubt some bacteria will get onto the food but it wouldn't be necessarily dangerous unless someone was seriously I'll already. Our bodies van cope with it. After all if you've ever had buffet food at a party or served yourself biscuits or scones in M&S from the plastic containers, then that food isore than likely to have particles of urine and faeces on, people don't Easton their hands when they go to the loo and they handle the food ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

Also if the food is still hot (and I assume it would be if its being plated up) the bacteria wouldn't survive on the surface of the food anyway.... |

I once came back from work and Mrs J shouted from the front room where she was sat with the kids "your dinner is on the cooker".
There was a pot of chicken stew and a bowl full already served out near it.
I topped the bowl up and grabbed the paper and sat and ate in the dining room.
A while later a voice shouts " didn't you want any then?"
"Yes" , I replied," I had the bowl that you had already dished out"
There was a pause and then some giggling , " why ?"
I asked.
It turned out I had just eaten what the dogs were going to have later which included what the kids had worn and thrown on the floor , they were very young then , and left .
Also the raw giblets !!!!.
I must admit that whilst reading the paper I did notice that the stew was a bit iffy but just shovelled it down.
There were no ill effects , phew!. |
