My Neighbours Car....
Jump to: Newest in thread
is outside my house. It's been there since I got home last night. I'm 3 doors down now.
What do I do besides saying 'bastard' every time I peep out of the window?....
Useless suggestions only please |

When you’re doing things just subtly bang stuff around, for no reason, and if anybody is there and they ask what’s wrong, take a deep breath and let out a loud exhale and mumble “nothing”, while continuing to bang things around.
Then let the tyres down. |

"Go and look out of the windows at the rear of your house instead.
I did that and it looks as if my car's been nicked! Can't see it anywhere"
Is it just invisible under a layer of ice so you can't see the colour of your car? |

When I was with my Ex, the old lady next door used to cause a massive scene and often call the police. She had never driven in her life.
She did bake us a cake when we moved in and used to give the kids pocket money and her husband (when he was alive) fed the dogs over the garden wall so often that when we landscaped the garden I made sure the path went to the right place on the wall to stop the dogs straight-lining across the lawn/flower beds. All this meant we forgave the moody cantankerous old cow her parking obsession

In instances like this, take the moral high ground and be a good neighbour! Be helpful and give it a winter service.
Start by putting sugar in the fuel tank as this will prevent the fuel from freezing.
Put more air in the tyres, during winter air in thinner therfore they will need more in.
Indicater and light fluid always needs added during the winter too.
If the windows are frozen, try pouring hot water on them to defrost them, that means you've got the car ready for them when they need to go.
Also if the car is dirty due to the roads, get some washing up liquid and kitchen sponge and get rid of the dirt too, the scrubby side is ideal for tough road salt. |
