So without wanting to open the whole bi and bi curious box can a man look at a man or a woman at a woman and think they are attractive or good looking without feeling any sexual attraction
I definitely can look at another man and think he has a good body or good dress sense that suits his figure

Yes. I think plenty of men are attractive or handsome. I’m not sexually interested in men at all.
I think it is also about the ideas around beauty and desirability that we consume and so we understand. So I have consumed my entire life different ideas and ideals of what attractive men look like. Of course I can see someone and decide whether they are or not. |

"I fairly recently had a very odd moment on this very subject.
Now you have to divulge…well only if you want to "
Nothing deeply personal. Just odd. Or interesting. To me.
Sometimes I really fancy a drag queen. The really fishy type. As much as I love drag I know of course it’s a guy. And that guy can be insanely attractive. One such drag queen a while ago came out as trans. At that point it was simply a label switch.
And I instantaneously stopped finding them attractive.
Not because they declared themselves trans, but because they no longer identified male. Suddenly the gender ambiguity of the drag was lost and in my head he became a she. And I lost my interest in that moment.

Yes and I find it interesting that a guy I might point out as attractive might not be attractive at all to someone standing beside me.
And in the same way I've had friends say a guy is super hot and I just don't see it at all.
So it would seem that straight as I am, I have a type. |

I can often think a man to be incredibly attractive, Jamie Foxx and the guy in the blue Range Rover advert to name a couple of examples, but I have absolutely zero sexual attraction to men - not even during my pre/post puberty phase when it's often said it's not unusual to go through varying stages of sexual discovery. |

Yes definitely. I do it all of the time. I mean, I’m bi so I like men and women - but I can totally see someone and think they’re attentive. Whilst at the same time have no desire to sleep with them |

I totally get what you're saying, Glow. I never want to see a transvestite I find attractive in man-mode because if I do and know who it is then any attraction will just vanish and not come back, no matter what.
And to answer the OP's question, yes, a man can think another man is attractive and have no sexual attraction to him. I do it all the time. |
