It's a really heavy subject but
Jump to: Newest in thread
Every morning. Get up, go for a pee and weigh myself before I make a cuppa. It is just a habit.
I glance at the numbers but my weight stays in a narrow band and I can control whether it goes up or down based on what I eat and the amount I exercise. |

"I used to do it every day so we got rid of our scales. "
I used to do this too, it's only recently I've allowed scales back in the house. Have to remind myself it's just an indicator, the other week I did weigh myself every day as an experiment. In the space of a week there was variation of 5 lb so goes to show it's kind of pointless weighing yourself so often. That has been a hard session to learn, only taken me about 30 years to figure out. |

Oooft. That’s rough Frida.
I was talking about body checking. Scales used to be one of my things.
Everyday weighing is pointless. It feels like it just feeds the obsession. |

I’ll weigh myself every day for a week, one week a month.
Weighing yourself is a snapshot of that day, I find doing it daily and averaging it, and logging it once a month is a better overview of what’s going on. |

Never, don't know how much I weigh and don't want to know
When at Dr's appointments ect and weighed they don't tell me nor do I look
I always go on how I feel in myself if I'm feeling heavy then I do something about it, if I'm happy then happy days |

I dont weigh myself. I have my abs as a guide of how they look, if they begin to fade away. I just eat less and if they are the same, where you can see them, it means that I eat the right amount too |

All the bloody time, at least weekly and it never changes but I just can’t stop, I have to keep doing it , not that it’s an obsession or anything, but it’s the only way I can figure out the weight of my luggage ✈️ |

"Usually only when my clothes feel a bit looser and I'm curious to know how much I've lost. But it's a damn nuisance that I bought a new pair of black jeans 3 months ago and they are now too big! "
I've got a drawer full of new or nearly new jeans and jeggings that are too small because I put on so much weight very quickly.
I reckon another half a stone down and the biggest ones will fit. |

You're talking my language Nanna. I have a wardrobe full of gorgeous clothes that I'm still not quite slim enough to get back into The black jeans were an expensive treat to make me feel sexy and confident again. If only I'd had the hindsight to buy the next size down. Oh well, I guess that just means I need to focus on losing a bit more to fit back into the clothes I already have |
