Not really no. You hook your finger, squat/bear down. I always remove it in the bath as it's easier for me. Staying relaxed helps. It depends on your anatomy I suppose!

Depends how far it has been rammed up really 🤣 I've always managed to get it out afterwards, it helps to have a bath and let the weight of the water do its thing IYKWIM.
