Hey there! I’ve been here before but this time I’m keen to enjoy the social side of the site more, to make friends and find like minded people to chat with. I’ve tried to populate my profile with good info, it would be great to make some friends here and chat x

Welcome to the forums!
The best advice I always give people is to 'find your people' and there's no better way than organised events and group socials.
Networking is the easiest way for anyone, especially single guys, to introduce yourself to others. Far easier than messages to strangers.
But yes, get some public visuals up as this will also stop people browsing you from passing you by straight away.

Same as above. Chatting online is no substitute for going to events. Check your local clubs and see if they do less play focussed events you can go to without the pressure of "going to a sex club"
