I'm a perimenopausal woman, there is no holding back the tears! And they can come out of nowhere... Even when I'm angry.

When I’m very upset I cry.

But when the crying stops I’m done. With whatever or whoever upset me.

Haven't cried for years even when my partner died. I just seem unable too.

I even watch warhorse and still.no tears.

It would do me good to have a cry

I would gather your fragrant tears, bottle them like my favourite scent and spritz them onto my pillow.

These days I just let them flow. I find catharsis helps in my coping mechanisms.

Just let them flow, feel what I need to feel and then let it go.

Crying is healthy - your tears get rid of chemicals that make you sad. That said, I'm still loath to do it because patriarchy.

I don't agree that men don't cry. Everyone cries. We aren't machines. Crying is a natural human thing.

Do I? Yes

When depends though. Sometimes I'll hold it in until appropriate. Sometimes in a moment the best option is not to. Sometimes you have to hold it back to get shit done.

I've found recently with sad films and TV I tend to naturally tear a little more than I used to when I was a real badass.

It's cool, chicks dig tears right.

I am not a big cryer in that I rarely have inconsolable episodes

Tears do, however, come quite easily over the most sentimental of things these days

It's more water running down my face and a snotty nose, but they're definitely there

They were there this morning over "never give a hamster matches"

Look it up

Think there's a difference between having a good cry as to crying over something you're watching and finding emotional.

We're both quite emotional people and will shed tears when watching something that pulls at the heart strings, but haven't had much happen in our lives for some time which has made us have a good sob.

But honestly think it's best to let emotions show x
