Recently I’ve had a long look at myself
I’ve decided to make next year my year, do things for me so last night I’ve booked Route 66 on a Harley Davidson.
I’ve also committed to a new job
I’ve also understood that the only person you have to like is yourself and that I will remove myself off all media as it is more negative for me than positive
What do you hope next year brings you? |

Route 66 on a Harley Davidson- That sounds awesome! How long does that take to do OP?
Every year I say I want to do x,y,z but never stick to them for various reasons  but I am a hopeful person and have already made a list for 2025 
But as always they will all depend on be money and time away from work 
I will be happy enough with just health and happiness for all though  |

I’ve got 20 days to do it in. Am going as a solo rider but the stops are planned for accommodation |

Sounds a great plan.
Next year I’ve committed to not doing any paid work, not a single day. I’m gonna work on my properties for around 12-18 months and do more travel & photography next year than I’ve done in the last 50. |

That sounds like an awesome adventure. Good for you.
I'm going to keep traveling and exploring the world. One day, weekend or week at a time. It's the only reason to work as much as I do.
I won't wait on other people, I'm much happier and confident to do it alone now too.
I'd like to restart my degree too |

Well, these things rarely go exactly to plan, and plans change because reality changes around us (and we change too), but a year of consolidating the overall "arc" from the last few years will do me.
So - consolidation, in a word. |

Every year, and more so every milestone year, I promise myself that I'm going to make my millions along with a host of other promises that also never materialise.
So this year I'm doing things differently and I've enlisted the help of a coach to help me make a go of a business idea and started it as a joint venture so there's lots of accountability.
So not so much "this time next year" but the goal now is to make a million within the next 10 years. |

Good for you, OP. Hope you enjoy the adventure.
Next year I will most likely have to find another job.
Hoping to have our wedding, lots of house improvements and to just carry on living our happy lives. Oh and if I can sell a screenplay that would be nice. |

I'm hoping to return to work at some point next year, I'm looking forward to routine, being around people and actually feeling half useful.
It'll be a huge bonus if my finances are in a better state too but we'll see on that one  |

You’ve just reminded me to go and see the start point of the Route 66 in Chicago this weekend- been several times but I always forget to go there! I’d like to do the route sometime too (by car, not on 🏍️)
