Can't see there being much in existence by 2030, let alone more than a couple of people in the country involving themselves with it. 2050, maybe. But quality, price and available funds are key matters |

The type of AI being done now, large language models, ain't going to get appreciably better. I won't say proper AI will never happen, I'm sure it will. But the stuff they're doing now isn't even a stepping stone towards it. Whatever proper AI will be, it'll come from totally different directions of development. |

Real threat is not AI - which is a fancy version of Augmented Automation. The real deal is AGI - Artificial General Intelligence and Nuralink, one can easily mimic humans and other can control real human by disconnecting brain sending waves to limbs. |
