Giving people a second chance on fab.

I'll give the most boring answer on any thread but: it depends.
I/we once gave someone three chances to meet which were frustrated by car trouble and.. I can't remember what else. Each time it was believable and I had sympathy for them, but at some point you have to pull the plug.
I've also had a few people just.. not turn up, then message me a few weeks later with excuses and asking to set up another meet. Obviously I didn't give any of them a second chance 🤷 |

Nah, plenty more fish in the sea as they say, and I'm not up for being stood up or messed around for a second time if someone fucked about first time. The "dead nan/dog/goldfish" excuse has been given too many times now 🤣

I recently let someone down, and I feel shit about it. We’ve been trying to meet up for ages and life just keeps getting in the way. I had a free weekend in the middle of a project, so I said yes. Then my days on the project got increased and as I’m under contract for the duration, I couldn’t say no. She’s a beautiful person, and someone I really like, someone I really want to know much better as a friend and maybe a lot more, so I’m hoping other chances will follow. Sometimes, life doesn’t always work out for you. So second chances can be very welcome. But it is of course up to the individuals involved. Like almost everything else, context is key. Xx |

If they had to cancel for a legitimate reason then yes they have a second chance, we all have lives to live.
If a date was arranged and they go quiet but pop up a week later apologising then no second chance. |
