My dog walker is paid monthly via bank transfer, and she keeps a kitty for the days when my dog is not walked for whatever reasons, and she will take out the required amount from the pot every time I ask her to dog sit for me.
When the kitty needs topping up, I just send her some money via bank transfer.

Oops, forgot to say how much, 12.6 GBP per hour for dog walking or cleaning during weekdays, and 21 GBP for overnight stay during weekends, and I have to drop off and pick up, unless she happens to come my way which is about 6 miles away.

wow....sounds like we have it good!!! on the very rare occasions we have had to pay for childcare we have paid £5 an hour. These are experienced and qualified as they work in the Nursery school that we used to send the kids to. |

We pay my friends 19 yr old son £30.00 plus a bagful of cola & nibbles to sit our 2 for about 6-7 hours, but our kids aren't little so it is more case of keeping the peace between them
But if it was me, as it is what I do for a living, £5.00 per hour per child, doubled after 12am
