First off, I'm not talking about inviting Alpha 5 to a gangbang....not yet anyway.
I use AI a lot for work and find it a very useful, time saving tool. It got me wondering, has anyone here used it to write/rewrite a profile? Or maybe to craft an alluring opening message?
On the flip to that, do you think you could tell if a profile, or a message is AI generated? |

I've seen a few AI generated profiles recently and at the moment I can tell. They are very 'writerly' and seem to follow a similar pattern. I'm sure that they'll get better though and be undetectable until you meet a person and discover that they're more Joey Essex than Shakespeare. |

I think it's getting better. I know what you mean.about the obvious profiles. But I'd be curious to know of any genuine Fabbers have used to as a bit of an aid? |

I've never used AI in any capacity and certainly not on here.
I wouldn't for exactly the same reasons I would never ask for or take profile advice.
It would no longer be a true reflection of me so it would be pointless. |

I’ve generated lots of content with AI during pilots for clients, it’s crap, it’s a dancing bear, ooo look a bear that can dance, hang on a minute, it’s moves are pretty lame.
Gen AI has got some uses , but text content generation isn’t one of them, unless you’re very unskilled and need something at very basic entry level. Like a non-English-speaking intern leading to draft some basic email |

The way I see it, AI is here and it's not going to go anytime soon. It's a scary thought because AI can also be used to manipulate people into looking at something, that just doesn't actually exist. It's also how you choose to use it. CHATGPT is a good example. All I'm saying is this is the future now and there's no going back. |

I might use it for proofreading, if I was very tired and prone to typos. But it's not going to do well to describe someone that it doesn't know well or at all. Fab teaches us that it's important to engage with prospective partners and it would show that someone is different from their profile pretty quickly |

Oh no the jig is up! But i can assure you I'm not AI, lol last I checked. I did however pass the "I am not a robot" after about 5 tries.
The more scary thing for me are these supposed AI chips that Elon Musk wants to get out. I'm just trying to make sense of it all.

Just out of curiosity though why would you use technology to help write something you could write yourself, technology has never for me been a good thing ,I'm sure you can all think of reasons for it being good but it's not use your brain don't be lazy . |
