I have a phobia of walking under bridges or trees that have pigeons hiding in them and usually I'm proper hard. If I have to walk under a bridge and it doesn't have that netty stuff to stop birds roosting then I run like forest gump chasing the night bus. Whoever said it was good luck invented the role of spindoctors |

Nope.
Yes if you walk under a ladder and there’s someone working on that ladder, something might fall on you, but that’s not because of superstition, it’s just gravity. You won’t get bad luck later because you walked under a ladder. Sooner or later something bad will happen but it would have happened even if you hadn’t have walked under the ladder.
Humans like to make links between things where none exists
