Mine passed away when I was 9 and was ill for 5 years, so all my memories are quite sad ones. However, on the good days she was an amazing cook and made pies with little pastry leaves on the top. Seeing such things as an adult brings a nice memory to my mind.

It's good you have nice memories too. My mum used to put pastry leaves and little pastry apples on apple pies too. She also has a pie funnel shaped like a blackbird |

She’s adorable, and funny, and smart, and kind and gives the best hugs and is my best friend, worst enemy, biggest cheerleader and never a critic. She has great hair and happiest smile and when people can tell we’re mother and daughter I grow 2ft taller.
Also, for the last 32 years I’ve watched her murder every single indoor plant she’s ever tried to keep but she’ll always keep trying and that shows dedication  |

She's heading for 88 years old, unsteady on her legs, still sharp in her mind, lonely, is a double for Joan Collins, never let's me leave without giving me some 'pocket money', and I can't imagine life without her.
Although I fear it's inevitable closeness. |

I don't think there's anything nice to say about her, unfortunately.
Maybe that she banned me from having sweets, so I've got really healthy teeth with no fillings. That's the best I've got. |
