I cancel any restrictions on my phone but for some reason when I'm on wifi I can't get on fab and that just happened out of the blue.

Any idea of how to fix it?

Are you using a VPN or hiding your IP address? I recall that used to be a problem in the past

Restrictions on your Wi-Fi.

I can’t use fab when I go to stay with family as my mum has age restrictions on hers

Or just reset your router, flush your DNS cache etc. it may even be your browser (are you android or iPhone?).

Sometimes just clearing all the cache and resetting the router will solve it

Yeah parent/web safe/nanny settings on your router. Your ISP can turn them on without letting you know so you probably need to use Google to find out how to turn yours off and all will be good.

It's usually down to content filtering (typical in hotels and public wifi) or parental controls which is often default on home broadband. Usually a change settings solves it.

You're using Fab at your palatial ancestral home?? When you should be spending quality time with your scions! 🙂

Yes quick tip - pull down screen on android phone - where it says wi-fi press this so it is highlighted - and hey presto -

Fab now works on wi-fi

I know you can thank me later

Update:

Still not working.

I downloaded a new browser and use 3 different phones, same issue.

Spoke with talktalk and turned off all kids safe, virus blockers etc and nothing.

Downloaded an app and clear the cache and still not working.

I'm running out of ideas.

I have been reading it could be the IPS or the DVN?( can't remember the name) but I have no idea how to change them....

This is so frustrating 😤

Actually using a VPN is a way round it. Has to be a decent one which usually means paid.

Thank god is back to work.

As you said it was an issue with the VPN ( whatever that is) and after downloading a VPN app it works as usual!!
