I decided to do the dating thing, seeing as I'm not doing so well in the friend with benefits department.
For our first date, he wants to go up a skyscraper and chat while we look at the view of London.
Should I back out, go for it and suffer the consequences, or really sell myself and admit I'm claustrophobic and scared of heights, so I'll probably have a panic attack in the lift and cry at the top?

If you’re really afraid of heights, don’t do it.
Also, on a first date you want to avoid anywhere that has 5 awkward minutes in the lift if you have to leave. A pub is ideal, preferably with an exit near the toilet. |

In my view there's only 2 places open publicly for a panoramic view of London, one is the shard the other is the London eye. So I doubt there's any fear of falling and you'll be safe. |
