I had a very close relative due unexpectedly last year. I got flowers pretty much every week for months it was lovely! (The flowers, not the grief)
This year I’ve bought myself flowers every couple of weeks because I miss having them

It won’t be long until someone says they prefer them alive….
I used to buy a couple of bunches every 7-10 days for my home, just because they look nice. I stopped for some reason and never started again. |

I never used to have them in the house until I renovated
The living room is now very minimal : white walls, beige seating and light wood floors and furniture
It needs a lift
The pop of a good bunch of flowers provides the punch it needs |

Forgot as well got 4 autumn Heather plants for the garden still need to plant them will tomorrow as taking the day off due to an appointment got a green, yellow, orange and blue one |

Nice to see people give them but also just get them because they like them. I used to have flowers every week without fail but have not done so as much recently. And to be fair sime if my favourites do not come in a cheep bunch or always easy to get. |

I generally buy my own as I like having them in the house but I do have some lovely friends who gift them to me on occasions and ‘just because’ as I do for them. The last man to buy me flowers was my ex when apologising for something 🙈 |

I generally buy my own or grow my own.
On special occassions I get them off my eldest brother. My twin sis & few friends get me some when I finish some of my cancer treatments cause I is a trooper 💞 |

Very rarely buy myself flowers, as I'm out at work all day, so I wouldn't see them. I don't buy plants, as I forget to water them, and then they die 😔 |

Very rarely.
Anyone who knows me knows that I do not enjoy getting flowers.
Main Reason : It's a job not a pleasure to recieve flowers. Then they decay and you have to reverse the vase, water , put the flowers in fiasco and wash the vase. Fuck off with the job I don't want it.
Also a main reason : Flowers should have ROOTS and be outdoors where they want to be. People kill them.
Secondary reason. They are expensive.
I always say a polite thankyou and then give them to someone else or bin them and cut out all the work involved. |

I also find cut flowers quite sad, I like my tulips they come back every year for free |

Buying you Alcohol is not really something that I would recommend …. I know that from personal experience that it don’t always end well
