In Support and Advice is a current thread called 'Caravan Etiquette' about the four-ringed window sticker apparently (well, I didn't know!) used by Caravan Swingers as a sign to others.
The subject of a general sign for swingers has come up many times and it's surprised me that no one seems to be able to define something which should be quite simple to kick off.
To give you an example of what I mean, anyone on here who has an autistic child or member of their family will almost certainly be familiar with the jigsaw-piece symbol which can be worn as a brooch, on a chain, in a ring etc., etc., and, when spotted by other people with autism in their family, is readily acknowledged.
So, seriously for once, would the four interlocking rings for Caravan Swingers work just as well for the rest of us? After all, even Christians have the fish logo on their cars!!!
If you don't know what it looks like, have a look at the Caravan Etiquette thread as a link to the Ebay supplier is on there.
Really surprises me that, after all these years, some kind of symbol hasn't caught on.
What do you all think, fellow Fabbers..???? Am I on a hiding to nothing, or are we just not making enough effort..???  |

"Its not a case of "hiding" for me, I just choose not to advertise the fact Im a swinger, its a personal choice. Same as I choose not to advertise what political party I choose to vote for."

1 to Rule them all
2 for Monogamous Couples
3 For the Elven Lords
4 For the Swingers
5 for the Olympics
7 for the dwarves
and 9 for Mortal Men?

Well I did find it a little odd that the Caravan Swingers seem to keep the sticker in their window permanently!!!  |

Almost right, the Christian symbol is a fish, the swingers symbol is a fish with legs meaning they are willing to travel, that's why you see them on cars cos the peeps are either on their way to a mee or coming back from one. |
