Abuse, Block, but report...?

If you get abusive message, do you block only. Or do you report it to admin also, does it make a difference..?

I ask because I had a message from someone who I hadn't spoken to in a while. It got weird with him turning abusive.I blocked him, like I have previously done on the occasional abusive message I have received.

But these messages gave me stalking vibes, and I was thinking of reporting it. But thought nothing will come of it.

Absolutely block and report and in circumstances that deem appropriate admin will take action. Retaliation to abuse never works I found out the hard way lol. Good luck OP hopefully no more abusive messages for you…

I always block and report. If nothing gets done I report again. By only blocking them allows them to carry on and give others abuse. Reporting them hopefully gets them removed.

Thanks guys, not sure if reporting leads to accounts being closed. But if it does the person probably just opens a new one. So probably blocking only is best option.
