This would be a tie with both....

Lonely this Christmas and Under the moon of Love

Great years to look back on

And then came 1977.......

"I'm lost 🤭😁"

Let's take a walk under the moon of love and I will explain...

I want to tell ya

That I love ya

And I want you to be my girl

Little darling let's walk

let's talk

Under the moon of love

Shockingly, both groups are still going. I saw Showaddywaddy at a corporate event a couple of years ago. They were quite sprightly

My top one has to be Mud...the video for lonely this Christmas is so naff that it's brilliant...one member under the Christmas tree looks like he's stoned and the wistful look on the lead singers face is a classic...

"All I hear is Jimmy Saville on TOTP saying Shadwaddywaddy "

The comedian Hugh Dennis used to do an impression of Savile saying "Showaddywaddy" on Mock the Week. Don't know if Savile actually said it like that or if Dennis made it up!

I know he had very serious major faults, but he did know his music, so let's not distract from the OP..showaddywaddy or mud ?which was better?

Mud, still have all the singles from their hay day, Dynamite, Tiger Feet, Cat crept in.

Back in the day, the choice in our school was Mud or Sweet, most were Sweet.
