I was happily married for many many years. Being married to my then husband, was the best thing that ever happened to me. But oddly enough, I have no wish to be married again

I've never had the inclination (and I have been asked, a couple of times), it just wasn't important to me. Just the thought of a "big wedding" is enough to give me the shudders, lol.

I am totally committed to my partner and fully expect to live with him until "death us doth part". If it was something he felt strongly about then I would (but it would have to be a discreet event), however luckily it isn't something he views as important either so it's very unlikely it would ever happen.

Never been married, but have lived with someone for over 10 years, was engaged but just could not go through with getting married. Maybe I knew deep down it wasn't to be.

Never had that wanting the big dress or organised the whole wedding thing in my head.

Never say never though, you never know what could happen.

no matter

I been married 40 years this year 20 of those were happy enough, we had two lovely children and I wouldn't have changed that at all. I would not marry again though I may choose to live with someone if I were alone.

"Never been lucky enough to find the one to marry. But I would if I found her x"

Had a chuckle on the way home yesterday when I passed a house with a massive banner covering the front that read

"you cleared the house bare...I proved you a liar in Court...you are getting F*ck all"!!!

Not bitter then!

" So would you get married ? And if you have been married would you again .? or is it all dieing out .. and no need for that now. Just down to ones values in life .. Not sure if I would ever again ."

I wouldn't want to live with someone without being married: I quite liked it. I was married at 20 divorced at 49.

The "sad" thing is that I enjoy my own company, and my house is just that "my" house. I don't know how I'd be sharing and living with someone again...but you know what - I wouldn't mind giving it a go!

I'm same it's my house and I'm not sure I want to ever live with someone now. I enjoy my own company too.

I got married. It is an experience which has left deep emotional scars and after all this time is still an open wound in my soul.

Would I get married again - depends if I can trust my own choice in partners again!

Never been married and can't see that changing.

Been with Mr B for over 20 years and fully committed and very happy. A piece of paper is not going to make any difference to what we already have.

First wife played while I worked.

Second wife does what her daughter tells her.

The answer is "Give me a good reason" before I answer!

I'm not bitter, just having been through the trauma of a marriage break down and seeing how much it affected my kids i would never consider it again.

Yes, once I get divorced from husband no 2 . First marriage was abusive but produced the best son ever (biased I know) 2nd marriage was a rebound to my best friend - we grew apart and wanted different things,he's asked for an invite to this wedding and if we have a decent sized do (finances allowing) he'll be there! - third time lucky I hope
