I’ve lots of French and Italian friends. The two cheek kiss feels normal with them.

However I hate the fake two cheek air kisses that some people do. Feels fake and pretentious.

I find it weird when people only do one or none. It feels so incomplete to meet with someone, friends, or family, and not have two cheek kisses.

Have done with most of my friends at one time or another. Not to be rushed otherwise can end up a kiss on the chops which is not intended and can be embarrassing for all concerned but probably enjoyed by all
