"Tie, done with a Half-Windsor, Windsor or Four-in-Hand knot.
I've never worn a Bow Tie.
A Cravat doesn't appeal to me. It's a carbuncle around one's neck."
What about an Ascot tie? Or is that also a carbuncle? |

And if you are going for a bow tie, either learn how to tie it, or don’t wear wing tip collar if you are going to use a clip on.
Also if you are wearing a clip on, take a real one too, drape that one round the neck when the dancing gets going and the ties come off. |

Always 4-in-hand for me. Men in Windsors nearly always seem to make them huge, like they're auditioning for Grange Hill. |
