I see on many profiles that people will not meet smokers. As an ex smoker myself I tend to agree. I think I’m more susceptible to the smell and I don’t find it appealing.
Recently I’ve seen people have the same attitude to vaping. I’m curious as to why?
I understand the dislike of smells and taste when kissing a smoker but vape usually smells quite nice and leaves no residual taste.
I don’t think I would have the same issue with meeting someone who vapes as I would with a smoker. |

You say about the smells and taste of vaping.
For people that don't smoke at all, you can still smell it on someone's hair and clothes, and you can taste all the weird and wonderful varieties of vapes you can get now.
It's like kissing someone after a full pack of Hubba Bubba been chewed.
It's no different in that respect to someone who chews chewing gum. You can still taste they have.

We don't mind vapers as long as they don't blow it in your face.
Tobacco smokers however don't seem realise how much it stinks - especially if they have been chuffing all night in a confined space - so we tend to avoid them. |

We once met a couple who asked if they could vape around us as we're non smokers. It was their house so we said of course we don't mind. They failed to mention that it was a "herbal" vape that left them both rather mellow. Thankfully everything went ok from there but it's worth noting that vapes come in all sorts of flavours. Some even have different effects 🫣. As long as people are honest about themselves we don't mind either way. Xx |
