Yeah look at me killing the vibe on a Wednesday night!
Just a curious question for regular forum users. Does the forum still entertain you and you get meets enough that you use it for that side of things?
Or are you just a little lazy, it's a distraction.
Or, lonely?

It’s my only media outlet, never been into the social media at all so when we’re chilling and Henny is doing insta, tikthing etc I come here.
It’s habit now.
It makes me laugh, mostly at myself these days but occasionally someone like yourself can do too.
We still use fab for events and the sex friends but we don’t actively seek meets.

Fairly lonely  I’ve been single for years with the exception of two months this year. Life could be busier and more fulfilling for sure, although I am a bit of a loner so I lack the motivation to seek company.
I’m not on any social media so this is my outlet and window to the world. I did miss it when not logging in and I quite like reading funny posts and talking shite myself.
Finding a FWB would solve both problems and I agree with what others have said - it’s good to have a forum on which I can openly talk about bonking and perversions. |

I don't use fab because I'm lonely. It's more a force of habit when I'm bored.
Do I feel lonely? Sometimes. Not as much as I used to though. I've been single for a very long time and having someone to cuddle up with now and again would be lovely |

Don't have anyone in my flat to chat to and work in an office that deals with people remotely so lonely yes. But use this to see what's happening in people's lives and try to make people happy from time to time. But always try and send something nice to someone who is having a crappier day than me. |

Just use the site mostly as mild amusement not really a hive activity for meets anymore I find for me .
It’s ok as it goes in waves over the years I find historically. I’ll probably leave after Xmas for a year and just goto clubs here and there and then come back following

I wouldn't say I use the forums to meet people but the opportunities have come as a result of using them, but I wouldn't say it replaces that actual human connection.
So yeah, I'd say I am pretty lonely, whether it's trying to find a girlfriend in real life, or something regularly on here, it's been pretty tough going which kind of enhances that feeling of loneliness the longer I go without. |

I'm often lonely, yes. I spend lots of time alone but when it's not my choice to be so. Even when I'm not home alone, I'm often sat alone because Mr KC is doing the jobs I can't do etc.
Since disability reared its head, my Grandad has died. I'm estranged from my mother. My Dad developed severe dementia and many "real life" friends have melted away. I don't really see many "real world" people, other than work colleagues. I don't have a social life, really.
So yeah. I'm lonely. |

I don't need meets currently, and that looks to be the case for a while to come, so I use it as a way of keeping mentally/humorously stimulated in a far more promiscuous way than I can get away with in real life.
You can jump from thread to thread in an instant, but in the flesh, and actual conversation, that would be rude and people would (justifiably) get a bit narked.
Lonely - god no. I would feel lonely if I was stuck in a room with 20 people who I had to devote enormous attention to. They're unlikely to stimulate me. But on here, I can spend two minutes on one thread, 20 seconds on another, play with a range of people, say and ask shit you normally get locked up for...and disappear the moment I want to.

I'm not alone I live really close to my family and I have my daughter. But actually yes, I probably am lonely and I think I have been for quite a while.
I don't use the forum as a solution for that, as I generally don't have time to make plans at the moment. But it distracts me from life and provides a few laughs |

I think sometimes we look for people to reach in to us and it doesn’t happen. Everyone has their lives and it’s not an intentional snub.
Toughest part is reaching out to other when you don’t necessarily feel like it, again human nature ‘I don’t want to make a fuss’
Sometimes you have to find a way to do that and yeah, it’s awkward, yeah you can fall flat, but sometimes the effort is worth it |

I’ve been using Fab for over 12 years now, but have only met two people as a direct result of Forum interaction. So it’s not my ‘go to’ for meets, as geography kills that side of this for me.
