I hope its the latter, less sad that way. And I do find it funny although if I get lots of these it would eventually get annoying and I may need to prevent other single males from messaging. But I'd rather not do that.

At the moment the instances are not regular enough to warrant filtering all messages from single males.
The peculiarity is just so high that a single instance was baffling -- but in a very amusing way.
I wanted to share it in the forum and hear what others thought about it. Have learned a multitude of new things because I mentioned it so very happy I did.
I don't think its good to hastily move on from things like that at the stage I'm at. Better to bring it up in discussions and ask questions about it. That way I can gain much more knowledge than I would have by just keeping it to myself. |

Some people just don't want to be honest about their orientation, because the truth inconveniences them in some way.
A lot of problems with online dating are due to exactly that. People not willing to be honest with others, or even themselves.
