Has anyone done this job as a little side hustle, i have been on the waiting list for about 5 months and have just got the opportunity to join, just filled in all my personal details for background checks,
Bloody hell they do have a lot of information off you, bit worrying giving out so much stuff including passport NI number driving licence. |

All jobs need your NI number don’t they? I would suspect the driving licence is needed as it’s a driving job. |

Also if you’re in business with Amazon in any way, they want everything. Even blood! I’ve never known a company like them and my business uses several. Even though my business wouldn’t be as successful without them I bloody hate them and the amount of problems they cause me! |

If you're not hiding anything you have no need to worry about the NI number, passport number and your driving licence details being checked first before they consider giving you a job. |

I'm going through the same for a seasonal job delivering parcels for Royal Mail.
All seems quite reasonable to me - they need to verify that you have a right to work in the UK (your passport), that you have the appropriate licence for any driving job (driving licence), and that you are a trustworthy individual if you're delivering goods that someone else has purchased (those docs plus NI number for a DBS check). |

I did it. I have a full amazon flex account with them. But I don't get a delivery order in my area. I could go to another district. But then I would have to drive 1.5 -2 hours to the warehouse. 😅
Good thing I have another, a full time job. I don't have to wait for them.🤣

Well i am not sure of the locations of them around Birmingham, but i think Bromsgrove has one which is not to far for me as i am on the south side of Birmingham, 20 mins away depending on the actual location of it. |
