to what extend do the police use our information. lets say i was caught in a dogging spot sat in my car wearing a dodgy animal mask eating a kfc with 2 litre bottle of fanta. would the police put any of that on the PNC or would they just give me a verbal warning???
just wondering |

Remember not to put locations in the forum
Doggers from a dogging site that near where we used to live had letters from the police sent to their houses saying they had been clocked at a dogging site.
I am guessing that would be enough to put people off going, especially if it was to married men or womens houses |

Every thing they write down in a notebook definitely gets put on the computer, who you were with what you were doing what your description was, they keep all information indefinitely ,
I was spoken to about parking illegally in the 80's and had a air rifle in the boot no action was taken just my name and address , 15 up years later I get a knock on the door over a person in the area killing cats with an air rifle as their info led them to beleive I had one

Don't forget that if you find yourself subject to an enhanced disclosure request the cops will not only reveal "Spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands, final warnings" but also "any additional information held locally by police forces that’s reasonably considered relevant to the post applied for". |

surely someone caught dogging would be more trustworthy than someone who hasnt been caught yet for more serious offences. the CRB check system only protects the guilty and makes vulnerable people even more vulnerable.
who would you rather have look after your kids? a prolific dogger or someone who appears totally clean and innocent with an unknown past? everyones guilty of something and those that are innocent are lying imho.
(disclaimer.. im not saying that dogging isnt serious) |

Illegal is illegal its that simple really. Yes more crimes are frowned upon more than others but with dogging there are risks that either kids or others that would be offended have to be considered.
I have done dogging and know the risks and pitfalls involved including at mininum my details taken and kept. |
