The 1984 version of A Christmas Carol was filmed in Shrewsbury. There is still a tombstone of Scrooge at St Chad's Church

Liverpool

Liverpool has been used so many times for movies and TV programmes over the years, we’ve been New York for Captain America, Birmingham for Peaky Blinders, also Fast and Furious, The Batman, Letter to Brezhnev, 51st State…… the locations around this city are constantly in use by film crews 😃

Four weddings and a funeral- 1st wedding scene church. I live about 5km away?

Also fairly close(ish) to the village where the idyllic English part of The Holiday was filmed. The cottage was purposely built for the film though. The church also features in Bridget Jones’ Diary.

I live in chick flick territory. 💅🏻

I love Shrewsbury. We used to go to Oswestry super often when we had family there. All that area is nice. 😍

A few months back I did a circular walk on the hereford / wales border..the area where the 2 backpackers got dropped off at the beginning of american werewolf in london.

It's meant to be the yorkshire moors in the film.

I don't live near there though.

( I stuck to the road..)

Ludham

The "grim" street in Grimsby was filmed in Calcutta Road, Tilbury. Just around the corner from where I lived, OK, it's a run down dock town but not as portrayed in the film but the people were nice.
