My Thursday rant

I send face pic on all messages and have face pics in my friends pics what I don't get is why are people so scared to send a face picture, I like to know who I'm talking to and don't do blind meets but why can't people see this?

As anyone had a meet on here without seeing what the person looked liked?

I would actually meet without seeing face. But would need to have spoken on phone etc. I wouldnt want to meet without them seeing my face though because last thing I would want is to turn up and them not to be interested

We always ask for face pics and send ours by return and state this on our profile but still lots of people that use every excuse not to send one and expect us to meet anyway ...

Face pic is fine if the conversation is leading somewhere.

What you more often than not get is:-

Man - "Hi like to meet, blah blah blah blah blah, Steve"

couple or female (usually without face pic. Unlike choccywooccydodah) "Send a face pic"

man - "here it is, hope you like it. lol"

IF you get a reply - couple/female "Not my/our type."

So can you understand that face pics are perceived to be the end of any chance of forming a relationship as it is sudden death.

I can understand why people don't have a public face pic, but not why they won't send one attached to a message. I recently swapped a few messages with a guy and, when I asked for a face pic, he said he didn't send them. When I said it would save time to ensure I found him attractive, he said that he had met many women and none of them said he was ugly.

Now that's his choice, but as I make it clear on my profile that I require a face pic for ME to make a decision whether I meet or not, I didn't take it further.

I've met without seeing a face pic on rare occurrences!

But only if I'm in a certain place already and not going out of my way travel wise - and always for a social only. And yes - it was the 'I'm in a blue suit sat in the corner' type text exchange.

Never come a cropper yet - and whilst not all meets have led to fun the banter has always been good.

Usually if someone says they don't have face pics ill offer camming as an alternative. But I'd never go in a pre-arranged blind 'play meet'.

Have to say, can't see how anybody would meet without some kind of idea of what someone looked like, how would you even know who to look out for when you met??

We have a face pic of the pair of us in our friends only photo's and at least one in the public photo's though think that one is a little blurry, so always send the other.

Like the opening poster like to know who we are talking too, so like face pics pretty early on, were both terrible with names lol.

I look very different in pretty much every photo (other peoples words, not mine) :/ so one picture compared to another attracts completely different types. Pretty funny and annoying at the same time, but tough to choose which!

It's the ones you spend time talking to, then you add them as a friend and they have no face pics in private.

When you query it they say it's because of their job! Well my job is important too, doesn't stop me sending face pics to people I want to meet!

Needless to say it was a non-starter!

If we get winks and think there may be some thing there we send a message with face pics of us both if we get a reply then things go forward if we don't were not bothered we still have lots of fun together

same with messages. We always reply weather its a not for us both or a possibility and send pics either way we have fun and been lucky not to have had time wasters too

No problem in sending anyone a face pic so long as i have seen theirs and know i don't know them.

Ive had people want to meet before sending pics and im not up for that...Met people who look nothing like their pics also.

You will have some kind of idea through description but just not seen pic. People must of done it before free pic messaging, whatsapp, etc right?
