We actually like the gifts we buy each other and we buy special food for the three days along with the stuff we always get.
We enjoy family time where no one worries about work or school and we get to play with the little ones, or watch Christmas films while we drink Baileys.

Man it not about the taking but the giving. Try and not spend anything and give time to a Christmas kithen. Crises always need help it changes your outlook on a shit day buy giving to people worse of than you and makes you appreciate what you have.. |

My Christmas list is tiny. Both kids and their partners, Mr N, my dad and one friend.
We push the boat out where food's concerned but we don't waste anything. I do but silly little gifts for the table.
