Kiwis and some other fruits have similarities at the protein level with latex.
There exists latex-fruit allergy, a condition where people with a latex allergy may also be allergic to some plant-derived foods, including kiwi. This is because some proteins in latex are also present in these fruits.
A lot of people allergic to latex are also allergic to kiwis, carrots, apples, cherries, one, all, or non.

That’s a really good one! Something I did not know
