George Lucas killed Star Wars. Disney just buried it.

It all suggests that the writers are struggling for original ideas so the regurgitation continues..

DISNEY KILLS EVERYTHING LOL 😆

Don't think writers are struggling for ideas it's more to do with the studios being to scared to take a chance on something that is not established IP.

The problem is people still watch the crap being regurgitated, so it still makes them money. Until that stops, they won't stop.

If it fits their agenda and pays them a dividend then they will carry on doing it. 😒

There are far too many sequels in general. I like a good reboot or trilogy but some franchises are just exercises in trying to print money (Jurassic Park, Fast & Furious, post-End Game Marvel)

Risk vs reward.

New writers with original ideas don’t get a look in because the studios don’t want to take the risk.

They’d rather regurgitate stuff they already know will have a guaranteed audience.

Alien franchise, should have left it alone with the second one.

under the sun & the moon

What I dislike is the trend to reboot a Korean/ Japanese/ Scandinavian ( any non- English speaking film) about a year or 2 later.

As if people are incapable of reading subtitles.

There always worse than the original.

(The american remake of oldboy is a train wreck.)

No, Luke got right royally fucked in the arse by Mickey mouse, and got balls crushed by Rey (Palpertine).

I've really liked the star wars series and spin offs...

Erm

.last mission impossible was terrible impossible.. and I'd really enjoyed the others.

Can never do enough dinosaurs movies xx even better if Sam Neil and Geoff goldblum are in it too. oh and that pesky T rex that always saves the day... and the completely wrong raptor Blue... xxx ( I used to upset people daily when I worked in a museum as I had to tell people that the bites on our t rex, couldn't have possibly have been done by a raptor as different era and raptors were much smaller than in the movie
