If you're the buyer then it's great. If you're the seller then less so.

Nope never. Same as all things like that mate. Protect your security with strong password etc. don't click on PayPal links in emails and you will be fine.

Remember not to click any links in e-mails allegedly from eBay or PayPal to minimise the risk of phishing.

I had my bank account emptied - even with a pretty damn good password and everything.

Did get all the money back but it took bloody ages!

I had a problem with it once when selling a phone on ebay

I put an iphone 4 on bidding, it was only 12 weeks old and was like new, been in a case with a screen protector on since new so not a mark on it, anyway it went for £330, this was last year when they was newer, the guy paid for it so I sent it, a few days later he sent me a message saying the item wasn't as described and asked for a refund, so I told him to return it and I would refund, he sent back a broken old iphone 4 that was not the one I sent him, I mailed him but he just said that's what he received it wasn't as new as stated and asked for his money back, next thing I knew he had reported me to ebay, I explained the problem but they said as it was my word against his and the buyer is protected they refunded him so he got my as new phone and his £330 back, I wasn't impressed

I sent it recorded delivery but he wasn't saying he didn't receive it, I also took a copy of the EMI number but as he had the phone it wasn't worth the paper it was written on, when they asked him for a copy of the EMi number on the phone i sent he just gave them another one that related to a different iphone4 so they said it couldn't have been the one I sent, at the end of the day he was just a conning bastard and I had no proof at all he send me a different phone back or that he was sending the wrong EMI number so he got a refund

I've never had a problem with PayPal. However I do sometimes get emails saying that my Skype bill (which I don't have) has been payed and if there is a problem then follow the link below.

It is a phishing email they are trying to steal your details it had nothing to do with PayPal at all. Just a warning to everyone.

No I haven't though I did struggle to register the 'bank' card I agreed to have so I gave up on that one. However I am a member of a couple of survey websites that pay into Paypal and its always instantaneous into my bank account when I transfer money
