I have a real problem with insomnia. When I was younger (and borderline insane) I used to get so pissed off with not being able to sleep that I would do something ridiculously dangerous.
I would headbutt concrete walls a few times to induce mild concussion, and would often drop off afterwards.
It's only looking back that I fully realise just how horrifically stupid it was, and it's a miracle that I'm alive to type this message.
I cannot stress this enough: DO NOT try it, no matter how frustrated you are. I was a really fucked-up teenager, and to a deranged mind, it seemed logical at the time.
A cup of hot chocolate, no computers for an hour before bed and codine work much better, and are certainly safer |
