de-friended and blocked?
Jump to: Newest in thread
Simple this one - Spoke politely to a lady a few days ago and became friends on here - 2 days later whilst checking my friends list she has disappeared. She is online so I ask why she de-friended me and that I was hoping to meet her eventually. She blocks me? I cannot understand why someone would be so cold? |

Wanted to see your private pics. Saw them - and either that was all she intended on doing - or something she saw changed her mind!
Don't try and over analyse - it's pointless! |

Maybe she befriended you just to check out your pics?
Maybe she thought you were presumptious in thinking she'd meet or maybe she blocked you for questioning how she choses to manage her friend list?
All her choice at the end of the day and would agree with the previous post about sounding a bit needy |

OP, to be honest sometimes there are no answers - all it ever comes down to is not taking much.
If you're convinced you've done nothing wrong, and they haven't come forward to say what you've done, then hold your head up high (block them back!) and move on |

Happened to us a few days ago with someone we had been talking to for a while, logged on one day to find we had been blocked by them, take no notice, its down to them who they speak to and if they no longer want to be in contact with you the easiest way is to block.
Won't be the last time it happens, we are all entitled to change our minds

"Just remember to also block her, as she or he will time to time unblock you just to see who is leaving you some verification"
Oh yes - and then start contacting your meets to spread gossip about you (which is untrue as they never even met you) in the hope of bad mouthing you to people that actually did meet you!

If someon takes you off their friends list don't question it they have done it for a reason.
Better to be unfriended and blocked now than sat in a hotel room waiting like a mug I reckon.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum |
Sorry girls, we are only here for the menz, and if we DARE to friend them then change our minds we must be fakes, or otherwise we're waiting in front of our flickering screens til 2am so we can sneakily remove the block and stalk the profile. Then we'll spread tales about how the guy, like, totes stalked us.
I really hope some of the comments I have seen from some of the guys here are tongue in cheek, otherwise my 'decent meet' radar is well off. |

Rosie had a guy that was sending her messages numerous times per day and checking the profile dozens of times per day, he wasn't rude or abusive but it just felt creepy and when she tried to explain he just whined on about how he was a nice guy and he was so hurt she felt that way about him and he wouldn't let up, so she had to block him.
I'm not saying the OP has been like that but there are two sides to every story and the moral of this one is if someone doesn't fancy you just let it drop. |

wow! Ladies,.. before you bash all guys for dropping 1% of some of their experiences, please bear in mind not all men are bad and not all women are innocent.
If you (male or female) have ever been stalked (or been on the receiving end of some nutter's antics) then you'll need no explanation to understand.
And if you haven't, all I can wish for you is that you never have to face it.
yes, everyone has coping mechanisms: I don't know how the ladies deal with theirs, but sometimes, guys try to joke about it with each other.. it takes the edge off to realise you're not the only one. Sometimes, how someone else has coped with things gives a different perspective.
And as for the "people bad mouthing your name in every club", the only reason this works (having been a victim of this myself) is because the swing scene, as with most aspects of society, loves gossip and most people will believe what they hear as truth without pausing a moment to confirm the facts,... or who its coming from. |
