My favourite...

- vampire film/series

Ultraviolet - 6 part Channel 4 miniseries starring Jack Davenport, Idris Elba and Susannah Harker. Shot like a modern police series with no gothic trappings and a great cast, it's a great piece of TV that isn't well enough known.

- vampire character/actor

Max Schreck (Nosferatu).

- Frankenstein adaptation

James Whale's 1931 film starring Boris Karloff.

- werewolf film/series

The Wolf Man (2010)

- gothic horror film/series

The first three 1930s Universal Frankenstein films (Frankenstein/Bride Of Frankenstein/Son of Frankenstein).

- Horror crush.

Monica Belushi in Bram Stoker's Dracula.

I almost went with Hayek but I'm not as familiar with the film so I'd be choosing her for non-horror roles

30 days of night is amazing, some poor vampire films

Tom Cruise surprised me in Interview with...

The Rob de Nero Frankenstein unbound, very cool and slow burner at times.

Teen Wolf just because 80s classic.

American Gothic was a mind fuck of a watch in the 90s, next to Twin Peaks.

Horror crush, Bram Stokers vampire girl trio, or the red head from Van helsing. Fucking bite me any day

.

- vampire film/series - Ohhh. Let The Right One In, WWDitS, The Originals, Penny Dreadful, Being Human and I really love the Bram Stoker adaptation of Dracula. Oh and Buffy! The Lost Boys. Wait. Midnight Mass.

- vampire character/actor - Laszlo. Matt Berry is perfection. And Colin Robinson. And Klaus Mikkaelson but he's a hybrid so doesn't really count. Dracula in most adaptations. Mina Harker when she's portrayed as a vampire.

- Frankenstein adaptation - I quite enjoyed Lisa Frankenstein. Very much looking forward to Del Toro's adaptation.

- werewolf film/series - Company of Wolves. Angela Carter is one of my favourite authors and I love love the film. Dog Soldiers. In Trick 'r' Treat there's an amazing werewolf segment! An American Werewolf is a classic.

- gothic horror film/series - The Haunting of Hill House. It's so incredible. Penny Dreadful. WWDitS. Cabinet of Curiosities.

- Horror crush. Laszlo. He'd get it.

Lazlo seems a popular choice with the ladies. I think I'm going to have to watch his show to pick up some tips!

Gibraltar/Cheshire/London

- vampire film/series - Dracula. Love many adaptations but Sir Chrostopher Lee is my childhood fave.

- vampire character/actor - Eli from Let The Right One In (2008) purely as she is a most misunderstood vampire character. Especially those saying the film is a "teen vampire romance". Nope, its not. Not even close.

- Frankenstein adaptation - Frankenstein (1931) Universal's classic is still powerful and at times tragically moving even today

- werewolf film/series - An American Werewolf in London (1981)

- gothic horror film/series - Daughters of Darkness (1971) European vampiric eroticism at its most sensual yet arty

- Horror crush. - Catherine Deneuve in The Hunger (1983) in my teenaged years but special mention to Salma in From Dusk Til Dawn!
