This one is really mad, but in the 1980's Pepsi cola had the 6th biggest naval fleet in the world.

When the iron curtain came down Russians wanted Coca-cola, but Coca-cala wouldn't sell to them so they bought Pepsi instead.

When the Russian money started to runout they then started swapping their old naval ships for it n instead of Pepsi scrapping them straight away they kept them in storage n built up a large fleet of ships.
