Visiting the Dalai Lama's residence and taking in all the splendour and tranquility, despite the altitude sickness. It was very peaceful there.

Christmas and New Year house parties.
All the family together, dancing to Agadoo and Knees up Mother Brown, singing Christmas pop songs, eating off of cheese and pineapple hedgehogs, kids running around with tinsel and blowers, First Footing and ringing in the New Year banging on pots and pans.
Waking up the next day without a hangover. |
